Starfield’s Shattered Space expansion received new details regarding its story and Dazra in a new deep dive video. However, it also outlined what players can expect from the enemies and Va’ruun’kai’s hand-crafted locations. Check it out below.

While Dazra is in a rough state, it’s the one location on Va’ruun’kai that was previously safe for its residents. The rest of the planet is extremely dangerous, and players will discover abandoned buildings occupied by Zealots, Spacers, and the Crimson Fleet. Due to the grav drive experiment gone wrong, creatures from the Vortex will also appear.

These include Vortex Horrors, who will sense when the barrier between worlds is breached and teleport to ambush you. Players can also discover gravity anomalies in certain sections, which they can float through to reach various locations.

In terms of weaponry, Bethesda is emphasizing more mid-to-close-range weapons, with a new gatling gun and sword showcased. There’s a grenade that creates a field, damaging enemies within it. As you progress through the story and solve mysteries, they can decide the fate of House Va’ruun (which could potentially affect the Settled Systems).

Starfield: Shattered Space launches for Xbox Series X/S and PC on September 30th.
