The survival horror title appears to be canned (for PS3, at least).

Until Dawn

Remember when Supermassive Games revealed that PS3 horror title Until Dawn’s development was going “really well”, in between doubts that the PS Move focused title had been canned or shifted to PS4? It appears that one or both of those circumstances has been realized, as online retailer Amazon sent out emails to customers that the game has been cancelled for PS3.

The email in question states that, “We recently learned that the manufacturer of Until Dawn – PlayStation 3 cancelled this release and it will not be available for purchase. As a result, we’ve cancelled the item from your pre-order and you have not been charged.”

This could still mean its arrival for PS4, so we’ll wait for an official confirmation from the developer before assuming the worst. Intended to support the PS Move motion controller, Until Dawn centers on a group of teens who must avoid a relentless killer while trapped in the snow-covered mountains.
