Halloween is a few weeks away, but Blizzard Entertainment will roll out the celebrations early in Overwatch 2. Season 13, Spellbinder, starts on October 15th, with its gameplay trailer debuting on October 10th. Aside from the return of Halloween-themed maps, nothing is known about the season.
As is tradition, we’ll likely see the return of Junkenstein’s Revenge, a PvE mode with preset heroes, each with unique lore corresponding and skins. Last year also saw the introduction of a similar mode based on Diablo lore, which you can check out here.
Alongside paid cosmetics, the Premium Battle Pass will also offer new Halloween-themed skins for the season’s duration. The latter should also feature a new Mythic skin, though it’s unknown for which hero. There’s also a My Hero Academic collaboration kicking off on October 17th.
