Horizon Zero Dawn - The Frozen Wilds

Guerrilla Games has announced that the first expansion for Horizon: Zero Dawn, its hit open world action adventure, has a release date. You can look forward to playing The Frozen Wilds on November 7th and it will retail for $20. Those subscribed to PlayStation Plus can pick it up at $15 though and pre-ordering it will net you a Banuk Aloy PSN avatar for show.

Though who don’t know the exact story behind The Frozen Wilds, there will be a brand new area, new missions, side-quests and much more. Considering the snowy landscapes of the base game were some of the best parts, we’re actually looking forward to how The Frozen Wilds’ new areas pan out.

Horizon: Zero Dawn has otherwise seen a number of free updates since launch. Along with bug fixes and changes, Guerrilla Games has introduced a Camera mode, New Game+, higher difficulty settings, customizable face paint and so on to appeal to fans.
