Horizon Zero Dawn - The Frozen Wilds

With so many great games having released this year, it’s almost easy to forget that one of them – Guerrilla Games’ Horizon: Zero Dawn – will be receiving its first expansion soon. The Frozen Wilds sees protagonist Aloy venturing beyond the northern mountains and encountering a new threat in a new area.

That new area is highlighted in a new Japanese trailer for the game titled “Landscapes”. It’s a short trailer especially compared to the amazing live-action trailer that arrived before the base game’s release. However, it’s just enough to tease the kinds of snowy areas you’ll be venturing through in the DLC.

Aloy will encounter the Banuk tribe and attempt to unravel a new mystery. This means fighting some new machines in the process as well. Horizon: Zero Dawn – The Frozen Wilds will be out on November 7th for the PlayStation 4 and retails for $19.99 (though PlayStation Plus subscribers receive a discount).
