Horizon Zero Dawn News Expected at Gamescom

Senior producer Mark Norris will be talking about the upcoming PS4 exclusive next week.

Horizon: Zero Dawn

Sony won’t be hosting a Gamescom presser this year like Microsoft, EA and Blizzard but Guerrilla Games will be in attendance to talk more about their upcoming open world action title Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Senior producer Mark Norris essentially tweeted that he was “Looking forward to @gamescom and talking more about #HorizonZeroDawn.” This leads us to believe that some new information about the game will be provided. Is it too unfair to expect some new gameplay footage as well?

Horizon: Zero Dawn was first showcased at E3 2015 during Sony’s press conference. It takes place in a far-flung future where humanity has been reduced to ruins and its remnants form tribes to survive. Survival of the fittest, however, seems to be contested with robot dinosaurs and other machinations rather than wildlife.

Expected to release in 2016, Horizon: Zero Dawn is exclusive to the PS4. Stay tuned for more information on the same when Gamescom comes around.
