Horizon: Zero Dawn

Undoubtedly one of the most exciting and promising games that has been announced for us so far is Horizon: Zero Dawn, the PlayStation 4 exclusive action RPG coming to us courtesy of Killzone developers Guerrilla Games. Today at Paris Games Week, we got to see more of it, which included another look at its gorgeous world, more ogling at its game graphics (albeit with framerate drops), and its real time combat system, which seems to take multiple leaves out of the Monster Hunter games’ book, by demanding that the player be familiar with the enemy they are fighting, as well as their environment.

The demo ended in a thrilling and exhilarating fight against a giant robotic dinosaur, which had over 90 armor plates, and can shoot lasers. It definitely made for a great ‘holy shit!’ showcase moment, right there.

Horizon: Zero Dawn will launch on the PlayStation 4 in 2016. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more information.
