Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater - EVA

During Xbox’s Tokyo Game Show 2024 Broadcast, Konami shared a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The eagerly-anticipated remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater still has no release date, but fans get the next best thing: More character reveals. Check it out below.

The trailer showcases more from Virtuous Mission, the opening gambit where Naked Snake must retrieve Nikolai Sokolov, the creator of the Shagohad. The latter is seen, but before Snake can extract Sokolov, he encounters The Boss, his mentor. Their reunion unfortunately goes wrong as she’s revealed to be a traitor.

Colonel Volgin then appears while we also see Ocelot showcasing his gun-slinging prowess. It all ends with Snake left to die (though he survives). Of course, we also get a peek at EVA, a mysterious agent who appears later in the story.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC (and also supports PS5 Pro). Despite the lack of a release date, Konami has assured fans that it’s playable from start to finish and won’t take years to arrive. It’s playable at Tokyo Game Show, so stay tuned for more gameplay and details in the coming days.
