The Football Manager series continues to build on its solid foundations year over year, and this year’s instalment has now also been announced and officially dated. Sega and developer Sports Interactive have unveiled Football Manager 25, which will see the franchise switching to the Unity engine, with Sports Interactive describing it as “year one of the new era for football management”, and “the series’ biggest technical and visual advancement for a generation”.

That will entail a revamped UI, the introduction of women’s football, “more visually impressive” matchday experiences, a overhaul for tactics that will “closer to the cutting edge of the professional game”, as well as a revamped way for setting up a new manager, which, according to Sports Interactive, will allow for “more customized, unique stories”.

The game will also allow players to carry over their saves from last year’s game across all platforms, which is going to be a first for mobile players.

Football Manager 25 is going to launch on November 26 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, iOS, and Android, before releasing for Nintendo Switch on December 3.
