Following the success of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Saber Interactive has provided a new Q&A session, addressing several ongoing issues and answering fan questions. It first discussed connectivity issues, acknowledging ongoing server problems, inability to connect with friends, and save file loss.

The team is currently prioritizing ramping up server capacity while working “day and night’ on the current issues. A “bigger patch” will delve further into all this, which will include new content (likely referring to the Battle Barge’s upcoming PvP Sparring Arena).

Another issue is the AI bots, which players consider ineffective, especially with objectives. The developer said their passivity is to push the player into the spotlight but admitted that some changes are in order. “In the next patch, we have a few improvements in their behavior against boss fights in the campaign. We are also considering improving their involvement during specific objectives in the campaign for a later patch.”

As for Veteran difficulty, currently too challenging solo due to said ineffective bots, Saber will adjust it in a “future patch.” The challenge will remain, but AI aggressiveness is getting some “tweaks” to even things out. There won’t be changes for the other difficulties, though.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Check out our review and the roadmap for details on what to expect in the coming months.
