The Alters might not be the most high-profile upcoming release, but 11 bit studios’ upcoming survival game has turned quite a few heads with its core premise, and to continue building up the hype surrounding the game in the lead-up to its release, the developer has released another new trailer. Check it out below.

The Alters will see players stepping into the shoes of Jan Dolski, a space miner who finds himself alone and stranded aboard a giant wheel-shaped station on an inhospitable alien planet. His goal is, of course, to find a way to survive and escape, and to do so, he needs to keep creating alternate dimension versions of himself who all made different choices at various different junctures in their personal lives. The newest trailer offers a glimpse of all of that and more.

The Alters is due out sometime later this year for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, though a specific release date is currently unknown. It will also be available via Game Pass. For more details, make sure to check out our interview with game director Tomasz Kisilewicz through here.
