Grand Theft Auto 5 was only released last October, but it feels like we have been waiting forever for the first batch of DLC for the game. After bringing you the lowdown on some alleged leaks over what the new DLC will entail yesterday, today we have some more concrete word for you, and straight from the horse’s mouth.

In their earnings report released today, Take-Two Interactive gave us an update on the status of the DLC for the game. Unfortunately, said update is pretty much the exact same thing that we already know- that Rockstar has “big plans for substantial story-driven add-on content in 2014,” and that they will “have more to say about it in the coming months.”

As for what we can expect from the new DLC apart from of course new story content, well, at this point, new weapons, abilities, and assassination missions seem pretty likely. But of course that won’t be all, and we’ll know for sure when Rockstar and Take-Two finally decide to damn well talk about it.
