S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is one of several major Xbox console exclusives lined up for release in the second half of 2024, and excitement surrounding it continues to build as we see more and more of it- and soon, we’ll be seeing a lot more.
Developer GSC Game World has announced that it will be premiering an extensive developer dive dive for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 next week, on August 12 at 9 AM Pacific. The deep dive is going to be over 30 minutes long, and will entail “behind-the-scenes materials, lots of footage, and a full quest walkthrough”, according to GSC Game World. The studio says it’s going to be its “biggest update” on the game until now, so you can expect healthy amounts of information and new gameplay footage.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl was recently delayed form its previously announced September launch, and is now due out on November 20 for Xbox Series X/S and PC. Microsoft will also be bringing the open world shooter to Gamescom later this month.
