The revamped PlayStation Plus will be beginning its launch rollout soon, and over the course of the next couple of weeks, the service will become available in several regions around the world. Tomorrow (May 24) will see the multi-tiered service launching in Asian regions, and in preparation for that, multiple listings for the classic games that will be offered with its highest tier, PlayStation Plus Premium, have started emerging on the PlayStation Store.

Courtesy of that, two new additions to that library have been revealed. Oddworld Inhabitants’ 2D platformer Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee – which originally released for the PS1 in 1997 – and Bandai Namco’s arcade racer Ridge Racer 2 – which launched for the PSP back in 2006 – will both be offered as part of the PlayStation Plus Premium catalog as well.

Interestingly, the two listings also mention some other details- both games, for instance, will come with various emulation features that haven’t been previously confirmed. In addition to being “enhanced with up-rendering”, both will also come with a rewind feature, quick saves, and custom video filters (with Oddworld featuring a CRT filter as well), while saves can also be uploaded online.

The listings also mention the Malaysian prices for classic games (when purchased individually) being between 20 and 39 Ringgit, which should be in the $5-$10 range, if converted directly to USD.

Last week, Sony partially revealed the library that the service will launch with, which included nine PS1 games (includes the likes of Hot Shots Golf, Ape Escape, Syphon Filter, and more) and just one PSP title (Super Stardust Portable). Syphon Filter developer SIE Bend Studio later revealed that the game will feature Trophy support. PlayStation Plus Premium will also Ubisoft+ Classics at no extra cost, a curated catalog of 27 Ubisoft games that will expand to 50 titles by the end of the year.

The launch lineup for the second tier, PlayStation Plus Extra, was also revealed last week, comprising of a number of PS4 and PS5 games by first and third party developers. Read more on that through here.
