Monster Hunter Wilds

Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Wilds will launch worldwide on February 28th, 2025. It will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out the latest trailer below, which showcases a new locale – the Scarlet Forest – and the Grimalkynes indigenous to it.

It wouldn’t be a new trailer without some monster reveals, and fortunately, we get to see a hybrid rooster/reptile thing. This fight confirms the return of the Vigorwasp Revive, which allows players to avoid carting and get back in the fight. Of course, there’s also the flagship monster, the mysterious White Wraith, to pursue. Let’s see if it ends up as the final boss.

With this year’s Tokyo Game Show around the corner, we’ll likely see even more of these areas and monsters in hands-on gameplay. Stay tuned for more details on Monster Hunter Wilds in the coming days, with the trade fair starting on September 26th. You can also check out some extensive footage here from Gamescom.
