Hogwarts Legacy kicked the year off as one of its earlier major releases with its February launch on current-gen consoles and PC, which was followed by the open world action RPG coming to last-gen consoles in May. Soon, it will be opening the gates for an even wider audience with its long-awaited Switch release, and less than a month until the port’s launch, WB Games has released a first batch of screenshots to offer a glimpse of what the game will look like on Nintendo’s platform.

A total of six screenshots have been shared via the official Nintendo website and the game’s official eShop page, showing various gameplay sections and locations. Unsurprisingly, plenty of visual and technical sacrifices have been made to get the game running natively on the Switch’s weaker hardware- and how well it’ll run obviously remains to be seen. Check out the screenshots below.

In our review of Hogwarts Legacy earlier this year, we awarded it a score of 8/10, saying, “Though not without design and story issues of its own, Hogwarts Legacy ultimately comes across as a densely packed and well-made RPG that fans of the Harry Potter universe will find incredibly easy to enjoy.” Read the full review through here.

Hogwarts Legacy is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. As of May, the game has sold over 15 million copies worldwide.
