Frostpunk 2

11 bit Studios revealed a new trailer for Frostpunk 2, the sequel to its survival strategy title set in a post-apocalyptic world with endless snowstorms. It’s out in 2024 for PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and GOG. Check out the cinematics revealed.

Frostpunk 2 takes place 30 years after the world plunged into despair, and The City has progressed significantly. However, as people have gotten used to all the storms and the cold, their ambition surges again (this time in the pursuit of oil). Those who fly too close to the sun can end up burned, though.

11 bit Studios promises that the experience goes “vastly beyond” the first game. There are different choices to make, and they’ll shape the city’s future. Some of those still carry moral consequences, so it remains to be seen how far players will have to push the new “The City Must Not Fall” tagline. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
