Destiny 2 10th Anniversary

Bungie has outlined its plans for Destiny 2 in Year 11 and beyond with Codename: Frontiers. You can learn more about it here, but in the meantime, it’s celebrating the looter shooter’s 10th anniversary with some free goodies.

Players can claim free armor based on the first Destiny 1 sets in-game; however, you’ll have to explore the old Tower in The Pale Heart to find them. You can also earn a new title, “Legend”, and a seal by completing tasks in the location. Completing The Final Shape’s Legendary campaign is necessary, though progress is retroactive for those who have already done so.

Finally, Bungie is teasing the return of Icebreaker, the Exotic Solar sniper rifle from Destiny 1. It will appear in the next dungeon, with more details to be shared at a “later date.” Stay tuned for updates in the meantime.

Destiny 2 is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Episode 2: Revenant starts on October 8th – head here for changes coming to its Raid and Dungeon Rotator.
