Catherine: Full Body Will Have A Puzzles-Free Safety Mode

You can cut past the puzzles, and get to the true meat of the game, which is its unusual story.

Catherine: Full Body, the upcoming remaster of Atlus and P-Studio’s puzzle game, features a whole lot of new content and features. However, arguably the most important of these will be the game’s feature that lets players skip the puzzle stages (or have them auto-play).

According to Atlus (translated by Gematsu), players can either choose to skip any stage on Safety Mode, or have the stages autoplay (on Safety and Easy modes). For players who just want the story and choice making scenes of Catherine, without getting too bogged down on a particularly nasty puzzle, such a feature would be a amazing. Especially given how the story of the game tackles themes and topics that few, if any, other game even begins to approach, it’s good to see Atlus is allowing for players to approach that uninhibited.

Catherine: Full Body is set to launch next month in Japan, and later this year in the rest of the world. While in Japan, the game will come out for PS4 and PS Vita, in the west, Atlus has confirmed that the title will be skipping a Vita release.
