Though it hasn’t yet been officially announced details on this year’s Call of Duty game have emerged aplent courtesy of several leaks over the last few months, with the game allegedly set to be developed by Sledgehammer Games as a direct follow-up to last year’s Modern Warfare 2. Now it seems Activision is also gearing up to officially unveil the game.
In fact, the company has already started showing off the shooter to select people behind-closed-doors. As reported recently by Charlie Intel on Twitter, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was being shown off to NBA stars at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas over the weekend. The showing was reportedly hands-off, with a demo of the game being showcased.
Of course, this is par for the course for a new Call of Duty game in the lead-up to its worldwide reveal, which would suggest that the franchise’s next instalment will be revealed soon. Sure enough, leaks have previously indicated that the game will be unveiled in August, ahead of releasing in November.
