Meanwhile, Animal Crossing: New Horizons stands at 42.79 million units sold, while Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has risen to 31.77 million units.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons remains in second place, with 42.21 million sales in the three months ending March 31st, 2023.
Super Mario Odyssey on Nintendo Switch also saw a nice increase from 13th to ninth place, likely due to the ongoing MAR10 day sales.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet sold 20.61 million units as of December 31st, 2022, and are Nintendo's seventh best-selling first-party titles.
Increased PS5 sales for the week resulted in Horizon Forbidden West rising to seventh place, with sales up by 141 percent.
