We’ve seen impressive showings for a number of games across multiple events in recent days, and two games in particular that have stood out to the masses are Starfield and Cyberpunk 2077. With Bethesda’s space-faring title impressing with its comprehensive gameplay deep dive and CD Projekt RED’s cyberpunk RPG turning more than a few heads with promises of significant improvements with its upcoming expansion, Phantom Liberty, both games have enjoyed a significant boost in reception.
That, unsurprisingly, is being reflected in their sales as well. Since their respective showcases, Starfield and Cyberpunk 2077 have both been hovering in or around the top of the top sellers charts on Steam. Meanwhile, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty has been in those top spots.
Starfield and Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty are both set to launch in September, so excitement surrounding their releases is bound to keep growing. With both releases being exclusive to current-gen systems, it should be interesting to see how they leverage the more powerful hardware that their developers now have at their disposal.
