Sony and Guerrilla Games have released the newest update for their hit open world action RPG Horizon: Zero Dawn. Patch 1.03 is now out, and at just 227.9MB, it shouldn’t take you a whole lot of time to download and install it. Once you do, the reason for it being as small as it is will become apparent- it doesn’t actually do much. Nothing visible, anyway.
The patch’s official notes say that it fixes ‘multiple crash and progression fixes’- for those of you who were running into or encountering errors of this sort, this should be welcome news. But for now, this is also the only thing that the patch has addressed at all.
But hey, given just how great Horizon is, it’s not like it needed much improvement to begin with, so you won’t find me complaining. Less updates to worry about, more time to spend playing and enjoying the actual game.
