Sony has officially unveiled the PS5 Pro, with the mid-gen refresh set to launch in November for $699.99. With a 45 percent faster GPU, advanced ray tracing, and the introduction of PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, games enhanced for the console will promise a number of upgrades, and it seems players will have a number of options to dive into even on day one.

In a hands-on preview published by CNET, it’s been revealed by Sony that about 40-50 games will be PS5 Pro Enhanced when the console launches in November. Several of these have already been confirmed, including Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Alan Wake 2, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, and more.

In addition to upgrade focused on running the games at 4K and 60 FPS, enhancements for these titles will also entail greater background details, new volumetric lighting and effects, and modes for both 120 FPS or 8K for certain titles. Gran Turismo 7, for instance, will feature an 8K mode, as well as a 4K one with enhanced ray tracing effects.

The PS5 Pro is set to launch on November 7. For more details on the console, head on over here.
